Platform certification
iOS 26 — the first NATO-restricted-approved consumer platform
In February 2026, Apple, the BSI, and NATO confirmed: iPhone and iPad with iOS 26 and iPadOS 26 are the first and only consumer devices to meet the information security requirements of NATO member states — up to the 'NATO restricted' classification level, equivalent to 'VS — Nur für den Dienstgebrauch'. Listed in the NATO Information Assurance Product Catalogue as Indigo-26.
The certification applies to the iOS 26 platform, not to TALDEN as an individual product. TALDEN runs as an app on this approved platform and benefits from its security guarantees.

On-device processing
Everything stays on the device
All processing steps — speech recognition, speaker separation, structuring — run locally on iPhone or iPad. No API calls, no cloud services, no telemetry. The iOS version uses mobile-optimised models; performance and feature set may vary compared to the desktop version. Details will be communicated with rollout.
